Beijing Olympic 2008

At this moment, i'm watching the live telecast of Sync Diving 3m Sprboard, Woman Heats. I woke up at 10ish this morning in order to catch the live telecast of Swimming Heats. Actually, i could have slept till late afternoon. After all, it's the last day of the week to acquire as much rest as possible. After today, i will definitely not sleep enough. It always seemed to be so little time during the weekdays to do anything. Apart from work, i would better off be home to rest my body and mind. Most importantly, to allow my feet to be free from the blisters and pain often caused by the heels. lol.

Anyhow, i'm absolutely one loyal tv audience for the phenomenal Olympic Games, especially Swimming, Gymnastics Artistic, Diving, Badminton and Cycling segments. The Olympic Games is sensational, and it got my adrenalin going. I remember when i was still schooling, i could sit in front of the tv and watched almost every games. But as i aged, certain segments doesn't really interest me anymore.

Baby has just called, and he is equally addicted to the games. It's a shame that i can't watch the Swimming Heats for qualifying to semi-finals that is happening the same time tomorrow. Darned!!!!!!

Cheers to the Singapore Team. Despite that our country merely participate in a few games, we should give our best wishes that they attain the goals set. Good luck to Tao Li for the swimming final tomorrow.

I'm so into Michael Phelps!!! He smashed WR for gold medal for the Men's 400m Individual Medley. Two thumbs up. Way to go for this chap! He can really perform and push himself for even better results. He's none other than human just like anyone of us. Well, maybe with a bit more luck and borned talent. And no doubt that he had went through more intensive training and all. It's still so amazing! I look forward to his performance for the Final game.

And.... round of applause for the impressive swim by the Korean chap, Park Tae-Hwan, for winning the Men's 400m Freestyle and sets the Asian Record. In fact, the Koreans have never won any medals in the swimming event. He has brought glory to his country as well as the Asian people.

Lastly, also to mention about Stephanie Rice (Netherlands), who beat the WR and won the gold medal for Woman's 400m Individual Medley. She's a beauty, and her body shape is just right for a national swimmer.

A little secret in me.. i have always wanted to become a swimmer. Having to be less than 12 months old, my dad already signed me up for lessons with a swimming coach. I guess it was a form of an early childhood activity. However, i abandoned the thought of taking up professional training since primary school as a matter of fact that my mom doesn't like the idea. She was afraid that i would end up like any swimmer with very big build and broad shoulders. Lol.

I would rather be a swimmer than an obese kid. At least, i would have been more toned up and fit. Luckily, i managed to lose weight. Not so bad after all. Heh.

Alright... gotta run... Have a great week ahead!! :)
