Not too bad for a start...

I had successfully made it through the first week of work. Fortunately, my immediate colleagues are of the same age as me. However, i sensed that the people in my department are rather pretentious or somewhere along the line. Nevertheless, i don't resent them nor the job scopes assigned to me.

I didn't lunch with any of them since first day at work. Met up with Luv, Ching, Ps, respectively for lunch throughout the first week. I also attended a half day training at MDH with many other new hires being either the RMs, PBs, SRMs, or other sort of frontliners and backend officers. Then i was accquainted to this temp staff who belong to same department as me whereas stationed at Millenia Tower office. We hit it off well at the training, hence, met up for lunch on the 3rd day. Both of us agreed that we could relate better to one another, instead of the other colleagues from both offices. I guess it has got to do with the age gap as well as the culture in Citi. I seriously had a culture shock right from the first day of work. And i wonder how long can i withstand it. Anyway, the temp's name is Huishan, and coincidently she lives just the opposite block. A couple of my colleagues live in serangoon too.

Eversince i started working, i realised that my body and mind couldn't function properly unless i sleep enough probably like the least 8 hrs or more. It's kinda fixed in mind that i won't stay out late over the weekdays except for Fri. In fact, i popped over to Bestie's bar & restaurant for dinner and chill out session on Fri. Bumped into my new colleague who had supper at the prata house. Anyway, It was all good having to discussed about the preparation work and related issues for the major event most likely happening around the end of next year. I am too densed to realise how much work has to be done for such an event as i haven't really been wholly involved in such event. Maybe just a bit here and ther. Thank goodness. I have sucha informative and 'experienced' Luv who taught me a lot.

Luv, T and I supposedly planned to head to the bridal show at Suntec. However, it was cancelled due to the poor weather. Besides, it was NDP. I was very sure that if we were to be there in the evening, it would be very crowded. I will rather be home than to jostle with the crowd.

It has been a pleasant week except for the disturbing behaviour of someone which in turn caused quite a bit of misunderstanding and unhappiness. I can't help but to say this... those men that can't keep their mouth shut in other words will be the nosey parkers and big mouths, i hope they better stay far away from me. I learned my lesson, better not speak a single word than to allow misunderstanding to happen. From this day onwards, i will not speak to any sort of people belonging in this category be it true or not as well as those whom i hardly speak to. I won't give chance or allow such case to happen again.

I'm pretty affected and unhappy that Baby can't come home this weekend. My institution tells me that we will have even lesser time to engage on phone conversations. I really hella miss my Baby so much. And i very much look forward to the weekend to spend valuable time with him.

'We are separated from time and place, but our hearts are bonded together since the day we became the best soulmates.' Love You, Baby!

Take care...
